Overview of Department

The Department of Computer Science and Applications was established in the year 2010,we have offered UG courses B.Sc (CS) and BCA and then at 2012 it has added one UG Course B.Sc(IT) and PG Course M.Sc (CS) one of the earliest department in our college. In addition, it actively participates in select off-campus programs. Some of the students are placed high reputed companies and some of them joined for higher learning. The department has made an eternal impression in the world of computer education in Tamil Nadu. Since, the aim of the department is to reach the top in the specialized field of computer , and it is taking the required steps focusing towards the goal. UNIQUENESS OF THE DEPARTMENT

The department conducted many inter-department, inter-collegiate programs to motivate students for future.
The main aim of the course is to make the students into a software engineers, developers Data Analyst, Tester, Network Administrator, Database Administrator in IT field or in Banking Sectors.
Our department conducted Guest lecture, National level seminar and International Conference to provide a paper.
