Overview of Department

The department of mathematics has started in the year 2011.. The UG programme started on the year 2011. In the year of 2015 PG programme has started ,These two programs are successfully offering by the department of mathematics and most of the students are placed in IT companies. The department organizes Intercollegiate meet at regular intervals and conducted extracurricular activities to bring out the talents of individual students.

PROGRAMME OUTCOMES

PEO1 Acquire knowledge in functional areas of Mathematics and apply in all the fields of learning.

PEO2 Recognise the need for lifelong learning and demonstrate the ability to explore some mathematical content independently.

PEO3 Employ mathematical ideas encompassing logical reasoning, analytical, numericalability, theoretical skills to model real-world problems and solve them.

PEO4 Develop critical thinking, creative thinking, self confidence for eventual success incareer.

PEO5 Analyze , interpret solutions and to enhance their Entrepreneurial skills,Managerial skill and leadership.
