Post Graduate Programs

The Post Graduate Programming M.Sc Mathematics was started in the academic year (2015-2016) with the sanctioned strength 50.The department of Mathematics offers, the elective papers are control theory, Fuzzy Logic and Fuzzy Sets, Differential geometry, Neural Network. The Department of Mathematics consists of Well-Qualified and experienced staff members. Our prime motive is to make the students as the good mathematicians like Ramanuja, Aryapatta, Sakunthala Devi... and make uses of the subjects in their future department.

Mathematics develops computation skills, critical thinking and problem solving skills. The theory, discipline and techniques taught in mathematics courses are especially important in today’s knowledge society. The faculty of the department of mathematics recognized this and stripes to ensure that the student learner obtains this knowledge. At the same time the faculty contributes to the disciplines by fundamental research in pure, applied Mathematics, Statistics and Mathematics education.

The Department of Mathematics will offer courses and programs of study that will ensures that the student’s learner will be able to contribute to today’s Modern Society. The students will obtain the abilities to critically assess numerical and graphical information; learn to formulate the strategies for solving the problems; and acknowledgement the importance of being intelligence in professional curious throughout the adult lives the department through its faculty will continue to contribute to the body of the knowledge of the discipline, whether in traditional research, applied research (or) research in the teaching of technical mathematics.
